Christ Crucified is certainly one of the Bardi Donation’s most important works, at least in its nonarchaeological part. With its aesthetic quality and precise stylistic definition, this Crucified Christ clearly shows the hand of a master, and hopefully a more detailed study will provide more evidence as to the artist’s identity.
