As the title says, Overlapping Rectangles, these rectangles overlap each other, the darkest surfaces in the background, with brown strips on the margins. The colors penetrate each other and culminate, in the foreground of the canvas, in two dark-beige squares, almost in the center of the composition. Notice that below right there is a dark strip and to the left, another brown strip. It is a concise, calculated, geometric composition – representative of the path taken by the mature artist.
