TEXTS

The work Portrait of Mademoiselle Marie-Antoinette Léomenie Brienne, Marquise de Roualt Gamache is not in a good condition and visibility should improve with restoration. The portrait is very similar in style, composition, and theme to that of the infant Duke of Anjou (crowned Philip V, King of Spain in 1770) holding a dog in the large painting The Family of the Great Dauphin, in the Museum of Versailles, painted by Mignard in 1687.
